Posting pictures

I have only just noticed that it now seems that we can attach a picture held on our computer WITHOUT it having to be available via the web. This was not the case with PD1 or PD2.

Is this new or has it been the case all along on PD3 and this old duffer just hasn't spotted it before.

Of course NOT everything is always as it seems.
