Latest updates from ZG/ Eastleigh Works this week:

The green Kof is now in daily use and is bedding in very well. So far it has pulled a class 57 with no problems and we’ve had it up to 20mph on the straightest track. The gearbox changes up quite nicely.

Work has started on the second machine and the heads are now back on.

There was an issue that the air brake was "binary" however further work was undertaken on the air brake system and this is now working as designed and there are plans to test it with air braked stock and see how it performs with a fitted train....

323 539-7 was started up last week and should be in service soon too.
