Speaker Required (London Area)

A friend is looking for a speaker on diesel preservation. He asks -

"I am looking for someone involved with a specific diesel preservation project but who could enlarge on the subject to cover modern traction preservation more generally. The group is part of the Worker's Education Association so a fair proportion of the group are not rail 'enthusiasts' in the strictest sense. We need lively speakers who can 'entertain' and inform a wide spectrum of interest with no railway jargon or over-techincal content. We meet at Surbiton on Wednesday evenings and I would be looking for early 2012. The group pays general speakers expenses + a meal before the meeting. The meetings run from 7 - 9pm with an interval mid evening. Normally between 65 - 75 attend each week."

If anyone can help or knows of someone who may fit the bill, please get in touch.
